#ReadPrayMemorize - April

I'm excited to share with you something we're calling #ReadPrayMemorize. Many people find themselves with a little extra time on their hands so I thought it would be a great time to roll out a guide for daily Bible reading, prayer, and Bible memorization.

We'll read two chapters of the Bible a day (one from the Old Testament and one from the New Testament). There's a daily prayer prompt (for the sick, healthcare workers, governing authorities, etc). And we'll attempt to memorize Psalm 121 over the course of April. It's an encouraging psalm that God could use to help us during the next month. It's only eight verses...so hopefully committing it to memory is doable!

I'd encourage you not only to personally commit to reading, praying, memorizing over the next 30 days, but do so with someone else, if you're able. If you are married, do this as a couple. If you have kids at home, do this as a family. If you are single, call someone from church and discuss the readings every morning or evening and then pray together. Though we won't be able to gather, we'll still have some unity if a number of us are reading, praying, and memorizing together.

If you'd like a hard copy of the guide, let us know at the church office and we'll print one for you. The guide will also be available on our Facebook page and can be downloaded at the link below.

Let me know if I can help you.
